The Oklahoma Aquarium is one of the finest inland facilities of its kind. Curator Ann Money provided the visiting MSM students an insider’s view of how it works. Live animal facilities have a big challenge just to keep all of the critters alive and healthy. Aquariums have an even bigger challenge to keep the water chemistry just right for the various freshwater and saltwater species that are housed at their facility. The group especially enjoyed seeing volunteers prepare meals according to very strict guidelines for the critters…they eat pretty well!
