Matisse Show opens in OKC

Matisse in His Times Masterworks of Modernism from the Centre Pompidou, Paris is an incredible exhibition at the Oklahoma City Art Museum, thru September 18th, 2016.

There are major works and drawings that span Matisse’s entire career – some you may know, others, probably not. It is an amazing view of his work. The big surprise for me is the inclusion of major works by many of his contemporaries, including Modigliani, Picasso, Georges Braque, Jacque Lipchitz and others. Truly extraordinary!! and Oklahoma City is the only North American venue!
